She has also authored books under her own name and conducted extensive journalistic investigations, providing commentary for leading newspapers and magazines nationwide. Her memoir, titled Ghosted: An American Story, is set to release in the spring of 2024. Nancy resides in Franklin, Tennessee, with her husband, journalist David French, and their family.
